The news that Eileen Davidson is returning to The Young and the Restless is bittersweet. One of the reasons the actress is making yet another comeback is to pay tribute to a beloved performer.
In addition to returning and working alongside YR pals Beth Maitland (Traci), Gina Tognoni (Phyllis), and Tracey Bregman (Lauren), Peter Bergman (Jack), and Melissa Ordway (Abby), Davidson is coming home for more than a family reunion.
The actress will also partake in episodes honoring both Neil Winters and his portrayer, the late Kristoff St. John, in April.
Davidson says that she was honored to be invited to be included in the tribute shows.
As YR fans recall, the show entertained putting Neil and Ashley together romantically and, for a while, they did have a relationship. Ashley made a one-way phone call to Neil just before she left town last October.
Currently, Ashley is back on the air as a continuation of the story she left last fall when the character decided to start her own cosmetics company.
Davidson will join Shemar Moore, Victoria Rowell, Christell Kahlil, and Mishael Morgan as fan faves coming back to pay tribute to Kristoff St. John.
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
