The ratings are in for the first full week of February. How did The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless do for the week ending February 5th?

Soap Opera Ratings

In households, YR came in first with a 2.33 rating. BB was the second serial with the most viewers, earning a 2.07. GH came in third with a 1.56. DAYS was in fourth place with 1.28. Each rating point is worth 1.210 million viewers. Thus, YR had 2.82 million viewers. BB scored 2.50 million viewers. GH earned 1.89 million viewers. DAYS brought in 1.55 million viewers.

In the coveted Women 18-49 demographic, YR earned a .42; BB scored a .39; GH had a .37; and DAYS had a .34. What stories stood out last week?

The Young and the Restless

On YR, Gloria (Judith Chapman) begged daughter-in-law Lauren (Tracey Bregman) for a job earning Chapman Performer of the Week honors from Soap Hub. Elena (Brytni Sarpy) and Devon (Bryton James) agreed to keep their night of passion a secret.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Over on BB, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) learned about Zoe’s (Kiara Barnes) feelings for Zende (Delon de Metz) and blasted her for her duplicity. (Soap Hub awarded Saint-Victor Performer of the Week honors for BB for his performance.) Also, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) dealt with the fact that Liam (Scott Clifton) could be the father of her unborn child.

General Hospital

On GH, Nina (Cynthia Watros) dealt with the revelation that her daughter was none other than Port Charles troublemaker Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). (Soap Hub gave Watros Performer of the Week honors for her work last week.) She joined Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) at Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) grave and they mourned his loss together. In the tradition of a classic Friday tag, Nina made a phone call — and who picked up the other line but a presumed dead Sonny (Maurice Benard)!

Days of our Lives

Lastly on DAYS, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) popped up to tell Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is alive! Haiduk’s ability to portray humor in a genre known for drama earned her Performer of the Week honors for DAYS. Also, Jack (Matthew Ashford) was revealed as Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) father.
