Would It Be ‘Rash’ For Sharon And Rey To Fall In Love On The Young and the Restless?

Sharon and Rey are most definitely not a couple in the making on The Young and the Restless.

She just broke up with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and gently rebuffed Billy (Jason Thompson) when he tried to play rebound, and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is totes married! Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) keeps reminding Sharon (Sharon Case) of just that.

Sharon also keeps reminding Rey how much she is rooting for him and Mia to reunite. Look, here’s a Top of the Towers gift card to prove it!

Meanwhile, Rey probably keeps telling himself that the only reason he even still talks to Sharon is that she is his best lead in the JT (Thad Luckinbill) investigation. Oh, and because her desk is kind of right next to his.

But they absolutely, positively, are not falling in love.

Watch out, Sharon, 51% are screaming, that guy may seem like he is into you, but the viper he’s married to isn’t your biggest liability. The man only started talking to you in the first place because he came to Genoa City with a job to do. And that job was to arrest somebody – anybody – for killing JT.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is very rich. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is very rich. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is very rich. Sharon is only modestly rich. (Remember how upset she was about Nick giving away his multi-million dollar trust fund?)
