At least half the cast of The Young and the Restless (YR) made it clear to Nick that they don’t approve of him taking Christian, and moving in with Sharon, Faith, and Mariah.
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) told him. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) told him. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) told him. Plus, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) shared a similar sentiment with Sharon (Sharon Case).
The only one who hasn’t told him – yet – is Victor (Eric Braeden). Is that because he sees moving into Sharon’s house as only the first step in his plan to get Nick (Joshua Morrow) – and, more importantly, Christian – to move back to the main Newman house on the ranch? Should Nick do it? Over 10,000 of you played real-estate agent:
Family Fit
Nick, himself, said that it’s good for Christian to be surrounded by family right now. Family like his sister, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Sharon, who was his mommy for the first year of his life.
So if family is good, more family should be even better, right? Grandpa Victor and Grandma Nikki would love to spoil their grandson, and if Nick and Christian were living at the main house, the task will be even easier, argue 52% of you.
Keep Your Distance
Nick is already scared Victor will learn that Christian is Adam’s son, not Nick’s, and move to take the boy away from Nick. If they’re living at the ranch, those odds increase every day, point out an almost equally adamant 48%.
Would you put Victor plucking a few hairs from Christian’s head and running a DNA test past him? No. Nobody would. (And Nick doesn’t know that Victor already knows, so that’s another wrinkle.)
Nick should, if anything, be keeping more distance from his insanely controlling father. In fact, even Sharon’s house is too close. Maybe Mumbai with Noah (Robert Adamson)? No, there’s still a Newman subsidiary there…
