Robert Mueller’s testimony on Capitol Hill today interrupted soap operas in markets across the country, but the networks have a plan so you don’t miss a moment of the action.
The only soap that will be delayed a day is ABC’s General Hospital, and the soap has tweeted that you don’t want to miss what’s going to come tomorrow (which would have aired today).
Days of Our Lives did air in markets where the soap can usually be seen at 12 pm EST, but those whose markets were interrupted can set your DVRs for 3 AM EST on Thursday, according to tickers that were up on NBC screens during the Mueller hearing. So, DAYS will not be delayed.
A CBS spokesperson tells Soap Hub that both The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful will be on the CBS website by 3:30 PM EST and there will be no firewall so everyone can watch. Therefore, CBS soaps will also not be bumped a day.
