Even when Adam Newman isn’t onscreen on The Young and the Restless, someone is talking about him…or, at least, thinking about him. It’s nearly impossible to escape hearing about him these days.
Young and the Restless Polling
Who in Genoa City is the person most obsessed with Victor Newman’s youngest son? Here’s what over 2,000 viewers told us.
Good Y&R Reason
Almost half of you, 49%, voted for Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson). We’d understand if it was because Adam (Mark Grossman) accidentally ran down her daughter, Delia, and Delia’s corneas were then used to save Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) life. We’d even kind of understand it if was because of how Adam treated Chloe’s BFF, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). But doesn’t it seem to be more than that? There is something twisted going on here. And it’s not about Delia or Chelsea.
The Other Young and the Restless Woman
Chelsea only wants Adam when someone else has him. She was perfectly happy to frame him for murder not too long ago. But now, she grits her teeth whenever she sees him talking to any woman that isn’t her. And that’s not healthy, 26% aptly observe.
What Might Have Been
Adam dumped Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), then told her he did it for his own good, then told her he wanted her back. Her head is spinning, and 16% of the audience thinks it’s because she’s not quite as over the man as she’d like us to think. Maybe Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) can help her with that.
Young and the Restless Left Behind
Adam was definitely obsessed with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) at one point, but 9% of voters think now she’s the one obsessed with him. She can’t stay away from him when he’s in trouble (and that’s most of the time)…and when he just needs coffee. With Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) dead and Nick too messed up from his Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) misadventure, Adam may be all she has left.
