Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), The Young and the Restless informs us, is the scariest man who ever scaried. And now he’s coming to Genoa City, where he is sure to lock horns with some of our favorite characters and be…um…scary.
The Young and the Restless Polling
Who are fans most looking forward to seeing him terrify, um, go up against? The votes of almost 4,000 viewers have been tallied!
Little Boy Blue
A winning 64% want to see the fear of God put into Kyle (Michael Mealor). After all, he’s the one who had an affair with a married woman. He’s the one who may have fathered her son. And he’s the one who’s been strutting around so smug for years, believing he can play with the big boys.
He’s an executive at Jabot! He totes earned it through hard work and being smart and fearless. You can’t wait to see him curl into a fetal ball and burst into tears the minute Ashland (Richard Burgi) enters Genoa City limits.
Clash of the Titans
Obviously, when we’re told that Ashland is a bad-ass, that doesn’t mean he’s badder than Victor (Eric Braeden). No one is allowed to be badder than Victor. Which is why 19% of the audience is looking forward to this meeting.
So that Victor can confirm his dominance. We can’t wait to see how Ashland will pay homage to a truly great man. You know what they say: If you can make it in New York… don’t think you’ll be able to win in a Wisconsin backwater.
Woman’s Work
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) landed in the last place with 17% of the vote. Because she’s a lady person. And because, when she makes business decisions based on a personal grudge, it’s because she’s an emotional lady person. When Victor does it, it’s because he’s a brilliant businessman.
Ashland will explain that to her. And, whatever he doesn’t mention, Victor will fill in the gaps. She doesn’t stand a chance – or deserve your enthusiasm. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listing for air times.
