Dr. Nate Hastings is one of the most popular men on The Young and the Restless these days. Oh, not romantically. Romantically, he is stuck drinking coffee with Elena Dawson as they talk about buying lamps, and/or listening to Devon Hamilton wax poetic about Dominic while Amanda Sinclair nods her head emphatically and pretends she doesn’t have anything better to do.

But, professionally speaking, Nate (Sean Dominic) is one hot property! He’s a doctor who has just been promoted to a supervisory position at the hospital. Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) wants Nate to come work for him, and so do Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). And so does Devon (Bryton James). What’s a man to do? What over 2,000 voters would like to see:

Keep saving lives on Young and the Restless, 68% of you insist, that’s the most important type of work. Plus, it allowed you to help Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) by faking medical records. That’s an honor! You wouldn’t want to lose such a wonderful opportunity!
Cousins Club
A much smaller 21% believe that Nate could be of use to Lily. He could do… business things? Podcast things? Media things? We’re not really sure what he’s qualified for, but nepotism is the name of the game in Genoa City. Why shouldn’t Nate take advantage like everyone else?

And then there are the 10% who want Nate to work with Devon. There is nepotism there, too! At Hamilton-Winters, Nate could do… music things? Charity things? Music therapy things?

Less than 1% voted for Ashland. Nate is as unqualified to work for him as he is for any of the above corporate options. Considering how Ashland seemingly fooled Nate with his medical records, we’re even starting to wonder if he’s qualified to be a doctor, either.
