It would appear that Phyllis and Jeremy Stark have cooked up a crazy scheme on The Young and the Restless to make it look like Diane poisoned Phyllis, which led, in a roundabout way, to her death (or so everyone thinks). We assume the plan is to have Diane stand trial for murder, then have Phyllis pop up at the last minute to prove that…um…we’re not really sure what the point is. But we are already wondering how success will be measured.
Young and the Restless: Jeremy Stark Epic Fail
It doesn’t matter what the metrics for success will be, because, as far as 29% of you are concerned, it’s already failed. None of it makes sense. Even if Diane (Susan Walters) did try to poison Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), that wasn’t what led to what made everybody believe was her death.
Diane didn’t cause Phyllis’s ambulance to crash. And maybe the paramedics did run a tox screen and Phyllis’s request, but there is no proof that it was run correctly, and without a body, it can’t be run again under controlled circumstances at the hospital. So…game over, man.
Y&R: All We Do Is Win
Of course, their plan will succeed, 33% of you cheer. Phyllis is the bomb, and she will be proved right eventually. No way will Diane be able to get away with sashaying into town and stealing the man Phyllis didn’t want until it looked like somebody else did. They’ll all be sorry they doubted Phyllis!
What’s Going On With Jeremy Stark And Phyllis?
Is this the plan, a winning 38% wonder? Because, right now, we can’t figure out what’s supposed to happen. Phyllis isn’t deliberately faking her death, is she (she is)? Because she said that Diane doing that to Kyle (Michael Mealor) was the worst thing anyone could do. She wouldn’t do that to her own children, would she? How would that make Diane look bad and Phyllis look good?
