The Young and the Restless (YR) may have gone a little too far pitting the Newman ladies against one another.

Y&R has had its fair share of sibling rivalries but this latest one is pushing the audience over the edge. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) rivalry keeps trying to heat up, but lately, it’s getting a lukewarm response according to a recent Soap Hub poll question on the topic.

Enough Already!
In fact, over half of Y&R watchers, 63%, can’t stand the constant showdowns. The leading ladies both have their merits but this head-to-head combat is grating on people’s nerves. This contingent believes that it’s time the women grow up and get over their tiff once and for all.

Yes, Abby’s been working hard to climb the corporate latter, however, she knew what she was getting into. Vicky will always be Victor’s favorite and nothing she can do will top their bond.

While these fans can agree Victoria’s taking her power trip a little too far, they also know she’s put in her time.

She’s spent years at Victor’s (Eric Braeden) mercy and she deserves to be at the top.

Drama, Drama, Drama!
On the other hand, the remaining 36% of fans can’t get enough. Abby and her sister are never going to get along so why not have fireworks in the process? The blowouts add spice to the show and you can’t get enough of their witty banter.

There’s nothing like a good grudge and you can’t wait to see what’s up for the sassy sisters. Victoria may think she’s sitting in the driver’s seat, but one of these days Abby’s going to trip her up and kick her while she’s down!
