Sally Spectra has no idea what to do about her pregnancy on The Young and the Restless. So far, she’s only confided in her business partner and friend Chloe Mitchell Fisher.

Young and the Restless Polling

But this isn’t the kind of secret you can keep for very long. Especially around people you get naked in front of. Should Sally (Courtney Hope) tell Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) what’s going on? Here’s what almost 6,000 voters urge her to do.

Take Your Time Sally Spectra

A not insignificant 23% of you think now isn’t the time. What’s the point of Sally telling Nick about the baby before she fully processes how she feels about it? If she’s planning an abortion, why even open that can of worms with Nick? Come up with a plan first, then tell him what’s going on.

Y&R Half and Half

Then again, an almost equal 24% of the audience thinks Sally should wait until she is certain the baby is Nick’s. Odds seem to be on his side, as Sally and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) were together only once, while Sally and Nick were having sex at every opportunity over the past few weeks. Then again, every time it’s come down to a paternity pickle over the past decade or so, Adam has always come out the winner. So Sally might want to let a medical professional fill her in first.

Sally Spectra Has No Choice

In the end, though, over half of the fans, 53%, don’t see how Sally has a choice in the matter. Even if she were to break up with Nick, unless she plans to leave town, Nick will put two and two together sooner or later. Sally could even get back together with Adam, and the two could act as if they have no doubt the baby is his — Nick will still have questions. He went to a fancy boarding school. We’re going to assume he can do the math. And knows basic biology. Sally might as well get ahead of the problem…instead of making it worse.
