With Devon Hamilton cutting her out and Billy Abbott kicked to the curb, Lily Winters is spending more and more time with Daniel Romalotti on The Young and the Restless. They are going to be working together on his life-changing video game. And they are hanging out a lot, reliving the past and dancing around the future.

Nope, 8% have decided. Because Lily and Daniel are just friends. Sure, they used to be more than that when they were younger. They were so in love that they even went on the run together. Which is soap-romance 101. But that was, what? Twenty years ago? It has nothing to do with today.

Heather will not like this one bit, 37% of voters predict. She’s the one who told Daniel they needed a break because of how he was acting. This is not going to endear him to her. If Heather can’t trust Daniel not to go running back to his ex the minute she leaves the country, then how can she ever trust him about anything?

Next Young and the Restless Steps
Lily isn’t crossing any lines now, 55% are trying to see things from both sides, but it all depends on what might happen once Heather and Lucy get back into town. If Lily continues hanging around Daniel, or if she gets in between Daniel and Heather when they try to reconcile, then that’s a different story.
Viewers are invested in Daniel and Heather. They don’t want to dislike Lily. But we also don’t want Lily as a third party. As long as everyone stays in their lane, we should have no problems. That’s not just Heather talking. That’s the audience, too.
