Daniel Romalotti returned to The Young and the Restless, where he spent his tumultuous teen years. For now, it’s only for the holidays, to see mom Phyllis Summers and catch up with his old girlfriend, Lily Winters.

However, he hinted to Lily (Christel Khalil) about wanting a change, and he even said he had a pitch for her. Should he extend his stay indefinitely…and maybe bring his daughter, Lucy, likely a teenager by now, as well?

Almost exactly half of you, 49%, would love that! You’re the ones still unhappy with Lily dumping Daniel (Michael Graziadei) to go back to Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). And we all know how that turned out. Now that Cane is gone, Daniel should make another play for Lily. Sure, sure, sure, she’s in a relationship with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). But considering how he’s way more interested in helping Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) — in a totally platonic way, of course — these days, it seems like Lily will soon be a single woman again.
Make It Good Y&R
A slightly smaller 44% of the audience is also eager to see Daniel stick around…but only if he has something interesting to do. Daniel lived an eventful life while he was in Genoa City, but most of the folks he was involved with, including his daughter’s mother, Daisy Carter (Yvonne Zima), Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes), and Heather Stevens (Jennifer Landon), are no longer around. On the other hand, Daniel also has a past with Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). And she’s going to be single pretty soon too.

Only 7% are uninterested in seeing more of Daniel. You remember the kind of hysteria Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) went into every time her precious Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) didn’t get exactly what she wanted the second she wanted it. We don’t think we can handle her having two kids in town to lose her mind over daily.
