Thanks to Dina and a set of unfortunate circumstances, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is out one bar on The Young and the Restless (YR) now that The Underground has burned down!
This leaves the guy with nowhere to go to work! Should Nick rebuild the Underground — or move on to new ventures? Soap Hub asked Y&R fans to weigh in on this. Read on for the results!
Like A Phoenix
Exactly half of you, 50%, believe that yes, Nick should rebuild his bar. Sure, Genoa City citizens who want to grab a drink can go to the GCAC or Crimson Lights (for the non-alcoholic stuff), but the Underground’s identity was unique.
It was a place you could go to in order to unwind, have a drink, and listen to some cool music by musicians like Tessa or Reed.
Over The Underground
A little over a third of you, 35%, feel that Nick shouldn’t rebuild. It’s time for Nick to cut his losses.
Initially, we suspect Nick will feel guilty if he believes he caused the fire. He may feel differently after he learns that Dina used the bar to hold a “farewell to Brent Davis” ceremony.
Gina Roma didn’t rebuild Gina’s restaurant after it was burned down. Instead, she got a job at the GCAC. Maybe Nick could see if Sharon’s hiring at Crimson Lights?
Never Say Never
The rest of you, 15%, feel that it depends on certain factors as to whether or not Nick rebuilds. Will he have the necessary funds now that he’s given away some of his fortune?
Will Victor block Nick’s efforts as he continues his bizarre vendetta against his son? That could be the biggest obstacle of all!
