What Should Billy Be When He Finally Grows Up On The Young And The Restless?

Billy Abbott’s had a tough run of it lately on The Young and the Restless (YR). He nearly lost his life in the Underground fire and did lose his job after Victoria blasted him for (what she believes is) his role in the tainted face cream.

But John and Jill’s son is a fighter who knows how to regroup. Soap Hub asked what you think his next professional move should be. Read on for the results!

If Cane Is Able
Most of you, 41%, feel that Billy (Jason Thompson) should partner up with Cane, who’s also having work woes, and the two of them should work together at Chancellor Industries.

Jill regards Cane as a son and to have two of her boys united, keeping Katherine’s company alive and thriving, is something she’d like to see. It could be a dream come true for her, and she’ll be back on screen agains soon.

Brothers In Arms
Almost a third of you, 31%, feel that Billy should reconnect with another brother (Jack) and return to work at Jabot.

The cosmetics company has always been a family business and with Jack, Ashley, and Billy united as a team, Jabot could become unstoppable!

“Billy Boy,” Inc.
A solid number of you, 25%, think that Billy should go to work for himself. He’s certainly got the experience and (if, unlike Cane, he’s saved his money) funds to strike out on his own. This might be a good idea so Billy’s not reliant on family members to make his work dreams come true!

Other Options
A very small number of you offered other solutions. One was for Billy to see if Lauren needed help at Fenmore’s. Another was to have Billy beg Neil for a job.

While Neil could use someone of Billy’s skills, we’re not sure he’d have to exactly grovel for a position within The Hamilton-Winters Group. Billy’s a solid exec — any company that got him on board would be lucky! Maybe.
