On The Young and the Restless, Ashland wants to know where Tara has taken the boy he thinks is his son, while Phyllis is furious that her daughter’s fiancé is claiming little Harrison as his.
As a result, she’s been particularly testy towards Ashland (Richard Burgi), thinking that he’s a threat to Summer (Hunter King). If this comes down to a head-to-head battle, who will win? Your votes matter!
Almost half of you, 47%, are putting bets on Phyllis. Ashland may buy and sell companies and almost managed to shut down Jabot, but when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) wants something, she leaves dead sea life in your bed.
What we’re trying to say is that Ashland may seem crazy, but Phyllis is seriously unhinged. And she thinks all is fair in love, war, and her precious Summer. Even her daughter has chastised her for going too far in the past. Not that Phyllis listened.
Only 33% don’t know which way the pendulum may swing. They both have some pretty strong motivations and an utter lack of understanding about boundaries. They enjoy destroying other people and are always on the lookout for more opportunities to do so – even when they won’t admit it. Ashland is his own man. But how will Nick (Joshua Morrow) feel about Phyllis reverting to old habits?
Let 20% of the audience break this down for you: Phyllis is a big fish in a backward Wisconsin pond. Ashland is the king of New York City, AKA the capital of the world. Even Jabot, an international corporation, almost couldn’t stand up to him. What chance does Phyllis have?
Ashland is going to mop the floor with her without breaking a sweat. He probably has minions who take care of such tiny threats. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
