Which of These Past Y&R Women Do You Miss the Most?

Some grand and not-so-grand dames have made their The Young and the Restless mark in Genoa City over the years.

A few memorable women have gone MIA due to tragic circumstances. Others have simply vanished from the story canvas and now only pop up for special events or occasions. Soap Hub asked which woman The Young and the Restless fans missed the most among Katherine, Gloria, Traci and the evil Sheila. Over 6,000 fans responded.

Katherine
No real surprise here. A whopping 84% of you miss the late, great Katherine Chancellor most of all. Portrayed by actress Jeanne Cooper until her demise in 2013, the character was an inspiration to all and a friend to many. Her guidance, tough love, and words of wisdom are missed on the show to this day.

Gloria
Michael and Kevin’s missing mama, Gloria (Judith Chapman), received 7% of your votes. She added flash and sass to the soap, and her relationship with each of her family members never failed to entertain you. If you had your way, she’d back in a front burner story – pronto!

Traci
The heart and soul of the Abbott clan, Traci (Beth Maitland), was the choice of 6% of fans. You get excited every time she comes back home for a visit and interacts with siblings Jack, Ashley, and Billy. Not only does she add warmth and a whole lot of love to her immediate family, but also the entire show.

Sheila
A stunning 3% of you miss bad girl Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and all the havoc she wreaked, when she was alive and kicking. There hasn’t been a villainess on par with her brand of evil in years. Nor has anyone been able to manipulate, scheme, and stir things up as diabolically as she did.
