Oy Vey, A Victoria and Rey Pairing On The Young and the Restless?

The Young and the Restless has been chemistry testing Rey and Victoria ever since the blackout when he was trapped in her office. Afterward, however, Rey returned to Sharon, and Victoria decided she was in love with Billy again… er, still.

Billy (Jason Thompson) has made it clear he is not going down that road again, and Rey has made it clear he is tired of Sharon (Sharon Case) putting Adam (Mark Grossman) first. So is it time to say oy, “Vey?” What over 2,000 fans would like to see happen:

It Won’t Work Out

A winning 64% of the audience doesn’t see any way this can work. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) was too up and up for Sharon. He would absolutely hate being part of the snake pit that is the Newman family. If he and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) were together, Rey would be spending half of his time either arresting various family members or listening to Victoria plead with him not to do it.

Victoria, meanwhile, is not exactly the down-home, let’s go down to Florida and hang with my family type. They might find the other attractive – who wouldn’t – but that’s a short-term affair. There’s no long-term potential there.

Other People

Only 23% of you are intrigued by the idea… but only as a means for driving Sharon and Billy crazy. Billy doesn’t want Victoria? Sharon couldn’t hold onto Rey? Cool, cool, cool. They’ve moved on. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

About Time

Only 13% of viewers have been biding their time, waiting for this to finally happen after the tease we mentioned above. There is a definite opposites attract thing happening here. Both Rey and Victoria have done their time with people who seemed perfect on paper. Try someone who seems absolutely wrong… but could turn out to be absolutely right.
