And the very scientific search for Jack’s biological father on The Young and the Restless continues!
First, Jack (Peter Bergman) assumed it was Phillip Chancellor, based on an old photo. Kyle (Michael Mealor) did a little grave digging, and a DNA test said, nope!
Then, he and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) eliminated Neil Fenmore as a candidate based on vaguely recalling their respective parents’ blood types. And, they ruled out Stuart Brooks. Jack dated his daughter, Peggy, and… he didn’t want him to be the one.
So that just leaves one mystery man. Who reminds Victor (Eric Braeden) an awful lot of his scummy dad, Albert. The guy who was so poor, he abandoned his wife and sons.
Cora had to put poor little Christian in an orphanage! While Albert was apparently sunning himself by the Genoa City Country Club pool. (And if he was working there, why wasn’t he sending money home to Cora, Christian, and baby Matthew?)
Are Jack and Victor long-lost brothers? Almost 10,000 fans take their best guess.
It All Adds Up
Of course, they are, 57% of you can’t believe you never figured this out before. The two have so much in common! Well, mostly taking turns sleeping with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). And Jill (Jess Walton). And Sharon (Sharon Case). Plus, a few more. Only brothers could have such similar tastes. And fight so damn much.
Impossible!
Oh, come on, 42% whine in return, this is history rewriting to the nth degree. Once upon a time, the Abbotts and the Newmans didn’t even live in Genoa City at the same time.
And Albert (the late George Kennedy) gave no indication when Victor found him of being familiar with the place, much less the love affair Dina (Marla Adams) so suddenly remembered. It won’t affect ownership of Newman Enterprises. Though it will make Jack Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) uncle twice over!
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
