The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, October 1 deliver something very familiar with Victor, and something unexpected from Kyle.
Victor (Eric Braeden) could barely stand the idea that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) might have warm feelings for Billy (Jason Thompson) while the two were married. He certainly can’t even imagine that Victoria could have any feelings for Billy at all now that they’re divorced. Children, shmildren, Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie (Sienna Mercuri) are Newmans, no matter what their birth certificates say, and thus, really, have no connection to Billy at all.
This is why he is just gobsmacked that Victoria doesn’t want her children’s father publicly humiliated — by their grandfather, no less. Fine, Victoria, Dad will explain it to you one more time. You’re wrong, he’s wrong, I’m right. Any questions? No, we don’t have time for that.

We’ll be honest: Kyle (Michael Mealor) has never struck us as particularly bright. Despite his huffing and puffing about how hard he has worked to earn his professional success, we can’t help but notice that it all came either thanks to his Daddy giving him a job or his ex-wife’s grandfather — who was usually only doing it to get back at Jack (Peter Bergman).
This is why we have a hard time imagining Kyle outsmarting anyone, much less Audra (Zuleyka Silver), for the long term. Maybe he’s won today’s battle. But is he really capable of winning tomorrow’s war?

And then there’s Nate (Sean Dominic). He seems to think he can keep Audra under control, too. He figured out that Victor was her mystery investor. We’ll give him credit for that.
But it’s not like there are that many billionaires in Genoa City to choose from. Now, he seems to be sinking into a mystery of his own, when he receives a cryptic message. Could it be we finally find out where Elena (Brytni Sarpy) has disappeared to? Nah….
