The Young and the Restless dropped anvils right and left that Adam was the mysterious man who rescued Faith after she crashed her car. They even ended Tuesday’s episode with Sharon swearing she would be grateful to whoever it was forever.
The Young and the Restless Polling
So now that it’s been confirmed, does that mean all of Genoa City should forgive and forget all of Adam’s (Mark Grossman) previous bad deeds? Especially Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind)? Almost 5,000 viewers weighed in:
Not Enough
Exactly half of you, 50%, don’t care that Adam had a moment of virtue. He should still stay away from Faith and the rest of the Newmans. His saving her life one time (OK, maybe two times) doesn’t make up for the time he literally stole it away from her when he passed Faith off as Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) daughter.
Or when he tried to kill her grandfather. Or the way he’s stalking her mom, even though she has asked him multiple times to quit it. Adam did a nice thing. Once. OK, maybe twice. Now do it again and keep away from Faith’s loved ones, and especially her.
All the Way
An almost equal number, 45%, figure Faith can give Adam a “Hey, yo, thanks, man.” But he shouldn’t take that as an invitation to get with her mom. Faith may consider Adam her uncle again. But she’s certainly not about to embrace him as a stepdad.
Main Man
Only 5% believe that Adam is a great guy and that Faith should acknowledge him as such. Now that he has saved her life again, Faith should be his biggest supporter and actually cheer for Sharon (Sharon Case) to dump Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and marry the man who has ruined both their lives so many times.
It would require a complete personality transplant. Which should go well with the Faith recast. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
