Melody Thomas Scott helped remind everyone that there’s nothing quite like a mother’s love when Nikki took a fireplace poker to her daughter’s abuse ex-husband on The Young and the Restless!
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) struck J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) to keep him for beating her daughter Victoria (Amelia Heinle)–but this isn’t the first time that she’s killed someone!
As longtime Y&R fans know, the first life Nikki took was before viewers had even met her. She learned as an adult that, as a child, she’d accidentally killed her playmate, Joshua Cassen, the brother of Bobby Marsino (John Enos).
Later, Nikki killed her abusive father Nick Reed (Quinn Redeker) by striking him over the head with a lamp as she defended herself when he tried to rape her.
Nikki also did in Diane Jenkins (Maura West).
The list of suspects in Diane’s death was pretty long. The mystery lingered because Nikki had forgotten she’d even done it! Diane and Nikki were in a fierce physical battle in which Diane tried to stab Nikki with a syringe.
In self-defense, Nikki struck Diane in the head with a rock–only she blocked the event from her mind until Deacon (Sean Kanan) reminded her.
Next, Nikki witnessed Neil Fenmore (Kristoff St. John) drinking and convinced him to let her drive him home. When Neil realized that Nikki was taking him to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, he tried to take control of the car by grabbing the steering wheel!
The car veered into Christine (Lauralee Bell), striking her and, sadly, a pregnant, Christine lost her baby. Eventually, Neil came forward and stated that he was at fault, which exonerated Nikki.
Now, Nikki appears to have done in J.T. as no pulse could be found on his body, and soon she decides where to bury him alive.
