Zuleyka Silver knows beauty. The bombshell keeps up with her looks, and it shows. But sometimes, there are procedures that don’t turn out the way you planned. The Young and the Restless star shared an important beauty PSA with fans on social media.
Silver shared this important statement on her Instagram Stories. She warned fans about a beauty procedure popular with young women called microblading.
This beauty technique is otherwise known as eyebrow embroidery. Unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it lasts one to three years. Silver revealed that she got her microbladed eyebrows removed.
“I got my eyebrow microblading removed. And I feel like my face looks naked,” Silver shared. “For those of you who don’t know, where’s my eyebrow microblading? It’s pretty much an eyebrow tattoo, and they don’t tell you that.”
Five years later, she noticed that the ink in her eyebrows turned gray. So, she decided to get them removed. She also wanted to inform other women who get their eyebrows microbladed.
“I feel like I have no eyebrows. The laser did burn off some of my hair, so I’m just waiting for my brows to grow back,” Silver shared.
She also asked Y&R fans for their thoughts on her new eyebrows. This isn’t the only thing she’s ended in her life. (Find out when Silver marked an ‘end of an era.’) When you get your microblade eyebrows removed, you might experience redness and swelling.
The area could also be inflamed and scabbed after the procedure. But you can go about your day as if nothing happened, and you should just make sure that you don’t get too much sun exposure, according to About Face and Body.
It’s important to enlist the help of a trained professional and follow the aftercare instructions provided by your technician. Silver looks exceptional with or without her microblade brows. However, her new look may be startling to Y&R fans.
