Y&R’s Jess Walton Asks Viewers For Help Identifying Herself

When you have a career like The Young and the Restless star Jess Walton, it could be difficult to identify every single appearance. The actress, who portrays Jill Abbott, on the CBS daytime drama recently experienced that, and she asked for a little help from her fans.

Walton took to Instagram, sharing a photo of her younger self dressed as a cop from a show that was likely sometime during the 1970s, which you can see below. She wrote, “I can’t remember what show this photo of me is from! Anyone know?”

Her former Y&R co-star, Doug Davidson (Paul), chimed in with a helpful suggestion. “Check your IMDb.” Then he commented with a possibility. “Police Story? Just a guess.”

Diana Barton (ex-Mary Jo Mason, Y&R) replied, “Wow. I miss working with you big sis.”

Other fans offered ideas ranging from S.W.A.T., Toma, The Hunted Lady, and Barnaby Jones. Walton appeared in episodes of those shows throughout the 1970s.

Many viewers had suggestions. “The Hunted Lady, and Quinn Redeker [ex-Rex, Y&R] was in it, too! Donna Mills (ex-Madeline, General Hospital, here’s her recollection of her time on the soap) starred,” suggested one helpful fan. Another let Walton know that the show was on YouTube should she want to look it up.

The actress also recently shared another fun flashback, which you can see below. Alongside the images from the film, she wrote, “Flashback to ’73! ✨ Stumbled upon these gems from my time in You’ll Never See Me Again – the TV movie where I played the mysteriously missing wife where every clue pointed to my on-screen hubby. Spoiler alert: I’m still around! 😉”
