Stars of The Young and the Restless regularly get their hair and makeup done before hitting the set to film scenes as some of your favorites in Genoa City. Recently, Christian Le Blanc and Courtney Hope ended up next to each other while wearing the same hairstyle, and what happened next was lots of fun.
Christian Le Blanc Vs. Courtney Hope — Ponytail Edition
In a hilarious riff on who wore it better, or perhaps we ended up the same without even planning it, the Michael Baldwin actor and the Sally Spectra actor sat beside each other with their fashionable locks pulled back into trendy ponytails. Le Blanc shared a photo of the two on his Instagram account.
“USUALLY we check with each other the day before… #thetaleoftwotails #PonyGate @youngandrestlesscbs #YR @thecourtneyhope,” read the caption of the cute photo of Christian Le Blanc and Courtney Hope showing off their hairstyles.
Of course, Hope had a reply for her co-star. “The ball was dropped…. So now: it’s a walk off my friends. It’s a walk off 💁🏼♀️💁🏼,” she wrote.
While there is plenty to be said about each star’s hair, it’s hard to declare a firm winner. Le Blanc’s pony is a sleek ‘do at the nape of his neck, and his stylish gray and white hair looks neat a tidy as he prepares to make himself into his on-screen alter ego, Michael — Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) current righthand man, much to his wife Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey Bregman) dismay. While Lauren isn’t a fan of Michael’s most recent work choices, we suspect she appreciates his Silver Fox hairstyle.
As for Hope, her gorgeous, wavy red hair is teased more than Le Blanc’s. Where his ponytail hairstyle is sleek, hers is artfully messy, making for something a bit more voluminous. That certainly works for her on-screen alter ego Sally as she tries to walk the tightrope between brothers Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
