The Young and the Restless’ Michelle Stafford experienced a tragic loss over the weekend. Now, the Phyllis Summers actress is pleading with anybody who can help or who has information to please step forward to help get justice for her friend Max.
Michelle Stafford Issues Plea
Stafford took to her social media accounts, asking her family, friends, and fans to retweet or share her message. “Can you please help me get justice for my incredible friend Max. He was killed by a driver in Ventura Saturday night. In the intersection of Ash and Thompson st. The driver was driving a silver sedan. They fled the scene. There r no leads. We are heart broken. If u can retweet,” she wrote.
Along with the caption, the actress shared a photo of her late friend. Many of her Y&R co-stars, like Tracey Bregman (Laura Fenmore Baldwin), Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams), and Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor) expressed their condolences. Other daytime stars like General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) and Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) also replied.
On Instagram, a fan also offered some advice on how to track down the hit and run driver. “Check stolen reports also. They more than likely said it was stolen to cover up the crime and their guilt. If you can retrace the steps of the vehicle to maybe get a picture from a storefront or traffic light,” the message read.
According to a KEYT report, anyone who has any information about the crime can contact Officer Chris Wilson of the Ventura Police Department at 805-339-4366.
