The Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway recently marked a milestone moment with her husband, Justin Gaston, which was made even sweeter by their on-screen wedding on the CBS soap.
Melissa Ordway Celebrates Her Wedding Anniversary
The Abby Chancellor actress took to Instagram to celebrate her 10-year anniversary with her husband, Justin Gaston (ex Chance Chancellor). She shared photos of their real-life wedding, alongside images of them after they welcomed their daughters, Olivia Christine and Sofia Jolie. Then, she included something extra special because the couple also got to get married on-screen on Y&R. Viewers might remember that their unexpected TV wedding happened when Gaston stepped in as a temporary replacement for Abby’s husband Chance during the pandemic.
“My best friend. My husband. My heart. When I hugged you in that audition, I knew. I felt it. You were the one. I called my mom and said, ‘I’m in love,'” Ordway’s caption reads.
“Today we celebrate a decade of marriage. 10 years, 2 babies, 2 weddings (one on tv), and a whole lot of laughs and tears and adventures… I love you more today than I did on the day I said, ‘I do.’ Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined a more perfect husband. Thank you for always making me laugh, being the best dad and my best friend. I thank God every day that I get to spend this life with you.
