Y&R Star Eric Braeden Speaks Out About the Atrocities of War

Y&R star Eric Braeden, who escaped from Germany amid World War II recently spoke out about the atrocities of war. The Victor Newman actor didn’t hold back when it comes to people making comparisons.

Braeden was outspoken on both Facebook and Twitter recently regarding the difficulties people faced during the wars of the 20th Century and comparisons of current situations to the Holocaust.

On Facebook he wrote, “If you were born in 1900, as my father was, you experienced the First WW ( 20 million dead)! In 1919-‘20 there was the flu pandemic ( 50 million dead)! In 1939 the WW2 started and ended in 1945 (60 million dead)! In 1953 the Korean War started and in the 60s the Vietnam War!”

The actor continued to discuss the adversities the Greatest Generation faced throughout all the conflicts and effects of worldwide illnesses. “The economic hardships were dire during those times! And some of you young punks complain about having to wear an effing mask? Or get a vaccine to prevent the spread of an effing virus? What kind of pidgeon [sic] livered cowards are you???”

Holocaust Comparisons Don’t Fly with Braeden

Then, on Twitter, a few days ago, Eric Braeden called out a Kennedy for comparing today’s situation to the Holocaust. He didn’t hold back.

“Robert F Kennedy jr, YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MIND AND YOU DON’t know shit about what it was like in NAZI GERMANY!! YOU SAY ANNE FRANK HAD AN EASIER TIME HIDING FROM NAZI TROOPS THAN WE DO “HIDING” from the VACCINE!! ??? You are nuts!!”
