The Young and the Restless star Christel Khalil recently revealed that she got engaged. The Lily Winters actress also shared the interesting reason why she waited a few months to share her happy news.
Christel Khalil Says Yes
Khalil took to Instagram to reveal relationship news. She shared three images of herself and her fiancé Sam Restagno dressed in white with thick-knit camel-colored sweaters showing off their updated status and Khalil’s engagement ring on the deck of a boat as it cruised in the water.
“A couple months ago I said yes to the love of my life,” she began her post’s caption. “We hate taking pictures so thank you to our beautiful friends for finally making us! Thank you @indigolabyogi for being such an amazing photog. And thank you @srestagn for asking me to be your partner in life. I could not be happier to tether myself to you forever….(and yes, dressing the same that day was a true accident 😆).”
The actress’s Y&R co-stars chimed in, offering their congratulations to the happy couple.
“Wow!!! Happily ever after!” replied Traci Abbott actress Beth Maitland. On-screen the pair share a special relationship because Lily was Traci’s late daughter, Colleen Carlton’s best friend.
Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) wrote, “I love this!!!!!” — complete with an abundance of red heart emojis, perfect for the occasion.
Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton), Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin), Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson), Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams), Melissa Ordway (Abby Chancellor), Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher), and Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell Fisher) all also offered their best wishes. Soap Hub joins them in wishing Christel Khalil and Sam Restagno congratulations and best wishes on their engagement.
