Mariah Copeland has some exciting possibilities in Genoa City as Halloween approaches since she and Tessa Porter are being considered as adoptive parents, and now her portrayer, actress Camryn Grimes, also has something exciting to share about a holiday — Christmas.
Camryn Grimes In A New Role She’ll Cherish Forever
Grimes took to her Instagram account to share the details of her brand new stop-motion holiday movie for Disney called “Mickey Saves Christmas.” The primetime moment will even be simulcast on a variety of streaming platforms and television channels. She shared some lovely artwork from the movie featuring the world’s most iconic mouse along with the always iconic Santa Claus, which you can see below, and Grimes included a heartfelt caption.
“If Christmas isn’t the time to make dreams come true, I don’t know when is! @disney brand new stop motion holiday special ‘Mickey Saves Christmas’ premieres Nov 27th @ 7pm EST simulcast on ABC, Disney Channel, Disney Xd, and Disney Jr. Along with fabulous talents behind Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy, my love @brocktalks once again takes the sleigh as Santa Claus himself!” Grimes wrote in her caption. “… Oh, and I play Mrs. Claus. 🤶”
The actress went on to talk about how much it meant to her to be part of a film like this. “Okay, now for the sappy part, in fact, I’m getting emotional writing this. My family is Christmas obsessed and worked tirelessly to make it a magical time for me as a child. I mean, I was practically raised on Rankin/Bass.
“So to be a part of a DISNEY…CHRISTMAS…STOP MOTION…CARTOON…as Mrs. Claus much less, has more weight and meaning than you could possibly know. I will sincerely cherish this forever, and I’ll see you all at the North Pole! ❄️” Congratulations, Camryn Grimes, on this fun new role! Soap Hub can’t wait to see it.
