Y&R Alum Justin Hartley Stars In A Lot Of Nothing

The handsome This Is Us star took to Instagram to share the trailer for the new film, A Lot Of Nothing. Contrary to its name, clearly, the film is a lot of something — a dark, difficult something.

“Congrats to everyone involved,” he wrote in the caption. “Had a fun time working with these great people. It’s a @itsmomcrae film and it’s going to #sxsw2022. So proud to have been involved. Can’t wait for you all to check out #alotofnothingmovie.”

Also starring alongside Hartley, who portrays Brian, are Lex Scott Davis (Candy), and Sheila Carrasco (Olivia). A former Y&R actor, David Grant Wright, who portrayed Judge Russel Gates for several episodes in 2016, is also in the film. Mo McRae co-wrote it with Sarah Kelly Kaplan and also directed it.

The SWSX Film Festival is March 11 through 19 in Austin, Texas, and it runs concurrently with the Conference, Music, and Comedy Festivals with the same name. In all, 99 feature films and 111 short films will appear throughout the eight days. You can check out the trailer for Justin Hartley’s new project in the Instagram post below. Warning: the subject matter is difficult.
