New faces coming to The Young and the Restless have fans wondering what’s coming next. Two new characters who are making their way to Genoa City are causing some rather disturbing speculation about the fate of one prominent Genoa City resident.
Long Lost Family Arrives.
The confirmation that Nichelle Nichols is coming to the city as Lucinda has rumors running rampant. Word on the street is she is Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) mother.
Neil’s parents have never been heard or seen in Genoa City. They were missing throughout most of Neil’s adult life, missing the birth of his children, grandchildren, and numerous marriages. If those events weren’t significant enough for them to make an appearance, something bigger must be going on.
Is There a Death Coming?
Some fans believe Neil may be getting a visit from the grim reaper in the near future. In fact, some believe he’ll be the center of one of the major story arcs for the show’s 11,000th episode and won’t make it past September.
Could it be Lucinda and her hubby are coming for their son’s funeral? Sadly, it seems the most likely scenario for the family reunion. With their absence during all other Neil’s life changing moments, it seems as though his death could be the only reason.
Life Without Neil?
If Neil is going to die, it will have a profound effect his Genoa City family. Life may never be the same.
