It’s May the 4th, which is a fun day for Star Wars fans, who use it as a play on words for the phrase “may the force be with you.” The Young and the Restless star, Bryton James, has a big dream he hopes will come true this May the 4th as fans pay close attention to the iconic franchise.
The actor, who portrays Devon Hamilton on Y&R, took to Twitter to express one of his lifelong dreams as fans of Star Wars everywhere wished people, “May the 4th be with you.”
“May the 4th be the day [Hasbro] [Star Wars] decides to make my lifelong dream come true & honor #ZareLeonis with an action figure 🤞🏽🤞🏽” tweeted James. The actor included several comic-book covers and artwork featuring Zare Leonis, along with a potential action figure design.
Of course, Bryton James is the voice actor who voiced Zare Leonis on the animated television series Star Wars Rebels. In the Star Wars franchise, Zare Leonis was a spy for the rebels who went to the Academy of Young Imperials on the planet Lothal as an Imperial cadet. In the Rebels animated series, James voiced Zare in the episodes, “Vision of Hope” and “Breaking Ranks.”
He had another fun idea too. “Maybe even Mr. [Mark Hamill] could teach me to use 4th 🫳🏽 #theanswerisalwaysnoifyoudontask.” The two stars do have soaps in common, which James may want to point out next time. Hamill played Jessie Brewer’s (Emily McLaughlin) nephew Kent Murray on General Hospital back in the early ’70s.
