Will Claire Turn into Jordan on Young and Restless After November 4?

Claire and Kyle almost slept together on the November 4 episode of The Young and the Restless. Summer pretty much figured it out when she saw Claire’s purse…and Kyle with his shirt unbuttoned. Kyle told Claire that Summer knew, and Claire acted like it didn’t matter. But, if there is one thing we know about Claire, it’s that she is very, very good at hiding how she really feels. Especially in front of people she’s planning to manipulate.

Raising Claire

A complete loon raised Claire (Hayley Erin). Her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) gave Claire a front seat in her master class, where she was told how to pretend to be one thing when she was really another.

Jordan also taught her niece how to obsess. Claire claims that she has never been in a romantic relationship before. She’s finally in one with Kyle (Michael Mealor). Odds are, she’s going to want to hang onto that. By any means possible.

Fly in the Ointment

Summer (Allison Lanier) and Kyle are divorced. Summer is dating Chance (Conner Floyd). Summer should be no threat to Claire and Kyle’s burgeoning relationship. But Claire isn’t very good at risk assessment.

As long as Summer is around as Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) mother, she will be around as Kyle’s ex-wife. And it’s not like she and Kyle haven’t broken up and gotten back together before. Claire needs assurance that Summer won’t get in her and Kyle’s way.

Break a Few Eggs

Do you know what would make it so Summer doesn’t get in Claire and Kyle’s way? If Summer were dead. That’s what Aunt Jordan would say, anyway. And Aunt Jordan may have been a cuckoo psycho nut. But she did get things done. Claire could follow in her footsteps in this one tiny thing. It’s best for everybody, really. What do you think? Could Claire turn obsessive over all this?
