Who is The Love of Traci’s Life? Young and the Restless Vet Beth Maitland Spills All

Beth Maitland is reflecting on 42 years of Traci Abbott’s life on The Young and the Restless. She’s had many great loves and an adulterous affair. Traci also has a new romance that has Y&R fans rooting for her. Maitland pondered who still holds Traci’s heart to this day.

Maitland dished on Traci’s love life with Woman’s World. Currently, Traci is involved with psychiatrist Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins). Maitland calls it a “beautiful story.” Traci assumed that she would never find love again after her brief romance with Cane (Daniel Goddard).

Hopefully, Traci’s relationship with Alan will continue to be explored. Her love life has been less than perfect. She ended up in love triangles with Lauren (Tracey Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson). She also had a treacherous affair with a college professor that led her down a dark path.

There was also the time when Traci was involved with Danny (Michael Fabian). She agreed to marry him after she was pregnant with her college professor’s baby. He pulled her on stage and put a ring on her finger. Danny wanted Traci’s baby to have a father.

The Greatest Love of All

Traci had a miscarriage and divorced Danny. But she was conflicted because they’ve grown closer. It was clear these two were better off as friends. Traci moved forward with the annulment.

During the interview, Maitland revealed who still has Traci’s heart. She’s still smitten with Brad Carlton (Don Diamont). “You know, there’s a hilarious competition here to figure out how many last names you have, and how many repeat marriages. I’m in there, but Melody Thomas Scott always wins, I think, with Nikki!”

Traci and Brad married twice in 1986 and 1991. They both had a desire to raise a family. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to keep them together.
