Who Didn’t Make the Cut on Young and the Restless November 14?

Abby and Devon tied the knot on The Young and the Restless Thursday, November 14, episode. Devon’s mother and sister, as well as Abby’s mother, made the trip to Genoa City for the big event. Jill was there, and little Dominic even made an appearance. But we were more stymied by those who clearly didn’t get an invitation to the festivities.

No Bro

Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) sister Victoria (Amelia Heinle) came with new (and old) love Cole (J. Eddie Peck), and her daughter, Claire (Hayley Erin), tagged along with Abby’s cousin on the Abbott side, Kyle (Michael Mealor). But where were Victoria’s other children, Johnny (Paxton Mishkind), Katie (Sienna Mercuri), and the long-missing Reed (Tristan Lake LaBue)?

Abby’s brother, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), had to leave early, but at least he scored an invite, as did his daughter, Summer (Allison Lanier). But where was Abby’s other brother, Adam (Mark Grossman), and his son, Connor (Judah Mackey)?

Two is a Crowd

We also wonder why Nick’s other daughter, Faith (Reylynn Caster), told Sharon (Sharon Case) she was “hanging out with friends” tonight instead of attending the wedding. Now, we can understand if she didn’t want to run into her ex, Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines). But Devon’s little brother, the kid who was living with him a year ago, didn’t show up either.

Cheap Seats

We understand not wanting a big to-do. We understand wanting a small, intimate family wedding. After all, it’s not like the Newmans and Abbotts are rolling in money. They have to pinch their pennies. No steak option for dinner — chicken only! But, still, surely they could have scrounged up a few more bucks for Adam and Faith, not to mention Victoria’s kids. Maybe a GoFundMe?

Biggest Shock

Of course, the biggest surprise of the episode is also the people who most certainly were NOT invited to the wedding, but they crashed it…in a manner of speaking. Instead of showing up to the event, Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) caused Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon (Sharon Case) to crash their cars near the wedding, and Phyllis’ car even caught on fire.

Presumably, these two had something big to do with Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death. These notorious villains have shown up in Genoa City just in time for the wedding festivities and just ahead of Thanksgiving. What wild antics will they get up to?
