The Young and the Restless viewers met Nate’s long-lost brother, Damian, on the January 8 episode. He seemed a little suspicious of how Nate found him…and what Nate really wanted, which made us curious about what Damian really wanted.
The Family Guy
Damian (Nathan Owens) might be excited to learn he has a brother. He’ll probably be less excited to learn that his mom, Amy (Valarie Pettiford), sent Nate (Sean Christian)… or that his mom is dying.
He might be eager to meet cousins Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil). Or he might just see them as a means to an end. But what end?

Work For Hire
Nate lured Damian in by pretending to have a job available for him. Damian might want to take that job for real. And then see what he can get out of it. After all, the guy hasn’t exactly proven himself to be on the up and up.
Then again, he hasn’t proven himself to be much of anything yet. He could be forthright and upstanding. But what fun would that be on a soap?

Ladies Man
Rumors are already circulating that Damian might be a romantic leading man for Lily. They are not actually biologically related. Nate and Lily are cousins because their mothers, Oliva and Dru, were sisters. (There’s also the fact that Lily’s biological dad, Malcolm [Shemar Moore], adopted Nate, but we don’t talk about that. We prefer to think of Neil as Lily’s dad and Malcolm as Nate’s dad, which makes them double cousins, not siblings.)
But Nate and Damian have different moms. So, there is no blood relationship there.
Partners in Crime
What really intrigues us, however, is that Damian was introduced in the same episode where Billy (Jason Thompson) told Lily about his plans to take on Victor (Eric Braeden) and get Abbott-Chancellor back. This means we can’t help thinking that Damian might somehow be a part of that. Working from inside Hamilton-Winters to give Billy the advantage Lily wouldn’t.
