We were excited to see Amanda return to The Young and the Restless, no matter how limited her comeback might be. We know she is working for Aristotle Dumas. But she also seems to have her own agenda. Is Amanda working for herself? Or is she in cahoots? What the May 19 episode led us to suspect.
Bigger Fish to Fry
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) whined about Amanda (Mishael Morgan) not telling Dumas to back up Phyllis’ company. Or to back up Phyllis’ soon-to-be-launched company. Or to back up Phyllis’ idea for a company.

Hit and Run
Amanda isn’t particularly interested in Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope), either. She snarked at Sally about helping poor Summer get her dream job. And then she told Billy to get over himself and reconcile with the only mother he’ll ever have. Which, for better or for worse, now and forever, is Jill (Jess Walton). (She was right about that last one, by the way.)
But then Amanda kept walking. Because she’s not here for them, either.

Two and a Half Men
What if Amanda is in Genoa City to make contact with the guys she’s really working with? Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and/or Holden (Nathan Owens)? Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James) still have a tough time trusting them. Which they should.
What if Amanda is part of the conspiracy? After all, Damian and Holden have been lying nonstop since they showed up. Is it that surprising that they’re still doing it? And that Amanda is in town to help them pull all those lies off?
