If Ashley doesn’t have multiple personalities on The Young and the Restless, then she is doing an incredibly good imitation of it. This week, even more versions of “Ash” came out, worrying Jack and Traci. We’re still not sure what caused Ashley’s psyche to splinter. (Does Tucker seem important enough to lose her mind over?) But we have our suspicions about where the different personas came from. Here are some places that her portrayer, Eileen Davidson, knows well that Ashley might have reverted to.

Everything Old is New Again

Did you know that Ashley was responsible for the death of an old lady in a college swimming pool? Well, OK, it wasn’t Ashley. It was Davidson. In a horror movie she filed just before debuting on Y&R. She plays a sorority girl who wants to cover up a murder, even when her friends start dying. If that won’t drive you crazy, what will?

Dangerous Dame

One of Ashley’s alters is definitely addicted to danger, as she keeps provoking Tucker (Trevor St. John) while acting so erratically that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) are left to wonder if they shouldn’t step in and do something.

Maybe she is channeling a 1990s cop who joined forces with a kleptomaniac and a homicidal ventriloquist to solve crimes. Think we’re kidding? Watch this and tell us if that pathological police officer doesn’t look awfully familiar.

By the Beach

But it’s not all primetime fun. Some of Ashley personalities bloomed in the daytime. So you know how Ashley Abbot is the daughter of the town’s wealthiest patriarch who periodically shares love interests with her sister? Meet Santa Barbara’s Kelly Capwell. She’s a lot like Ashley…only with more headbands. If Ashley starts wearing headbands all of a sudden, you’ll know whom she’s channeling. (Watch here, headband, alas, not included.)

Those Were the Days

We saved her Days of our Lives role for last because there, well, Davidson didn’t play a woman with many personalities. But she did play many personalities. She was a homeless urchin. She was a rich bitch. She was an English rich bitch. She was a nun. She was a dude. Ashley Abbot wishes she were this many people! Here are just a couple of them.

What do you think? Have you seen Davidson in these roles before? What about Ashley? Do you have some theories on who her alters are? Let us know in the comments below.
