For the October 31 Halloween episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon got a visit from the thing she fears most: An undead Heather, there to seek her revenge for Sharon (presumably) killing her. As the teens in my life say, “Pictures or it didn’t happen.”
And while we saw Sharon clean up and dump Sharon’s body, we didn’t actually see her commit the murder. So, the jury is still out on what exactly happened that day. But while Sharon committed the most recent Genoa City bad deed, it’s hardly the worst thing that ever happened in this town. Lots more folks are being haunted — off-screen. Let us introduce you to two of their holiday nightmares.

Victor Newman
For all his bluster and threats, Victor (Eric Braeden) couldn’t be any clearer regarding who he fears: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). The fact that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) went to her ex-husband, Jack, and not to her current husband, Victor, for help with her addiction proved, without a shadow of a doubt, that she trusted him to keep her safe.
Nikki didn’t even TELL Victor she was struggling. Because she knew he’d just tell her to stop and make her feel bad when she failed to obey him. Victor’s Halloween nightmare is destined to be Nikki waltzing off with Jack. Like she’s done multiple times before.

Phyllis Summers
Why do we think Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) spends so much time shrieking at the top of her lungs about how important she is and how Billy (Jason Thompson), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Summer (Allison Lanier), Daniel, etc…won’t be able to survive a day without her? Why do we think she hallucinates that Christine (Lauralee Bell) is so obsessed with her that she’d deliberately throw her case defending Daniel…the son of Christine’s love, Danny (Michael Damian)?
It’s because Phyllis knows that she matters to no one. Even her children can get along fine without her. They proved it when she was “dead.” Phyllis’ worst fear is that she will walk into a room…and no one will even notice she’s there. That’s why she was to scream to be heard. And seen.
