Sharon went to get the evidence from the night Heather died on The Young and the Restless October 4 episode. Cameron whispered in her ear that it was time to make Daniel pay for the life he took. Presumably, that means Cassie’s, even though technically, that was an accident. However, what if Sharon isn’t framing Daniel?
The Real Target
Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) actions caused Cassie (Camryn Grimes) to lose her life. Cassie is Sharon’s (Sharon Case) daughter, a daughter she was unable to protect the way she was able to protect Faith (Reylynn Caster) from Cameron (Linden Ashby).

Sharon lost a daughter, so what if Sharon’s revenge is actually causing Daniel to lose his daughter? Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Perhaps Sharon is implicating Lucy in Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death instead of Daniel. That way, if Sharon had to live without her daughter, then Daniel would have to live without his, too.
Of course, even if Sharon implicated Daniel and he went to prison, he’d technically face living his life without Lucy. However, pointing the evidence at Lucy is even darker and more demented. It’s awfully dark even for Sharon these days. No matter who she’s implicating, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is sure to be furious.

After all, Sharon has spent years being a therapist (yes, we know it was mostly at Crimson Lights, but still). She’s helped so many people in Genoa City figure out their mental health problems. It seems like Sharon doing something like framing a teenage girl is beyond the pale. Of course, she also presumably killed Heather, and she’s certainly framing somebody with the bloody evidence.
What do you think? Is this too low even for Sharon? What would be the best punishment for Daniel…at least in Sharon’s mind? Let us know in the comments below.
