There’s never a dull moment with Phyllis on The Young and the Restless. While the redhead is known for creating drama, she can also dish out plenty of entertainment and humor. Michelle Stafford shared one of her character’s iconic moments in a recent throwback.
Red-Hot Phyllis
One of Phyllis’ memorable storylines is her feud with Diane (Susan Walters). Their rivalry began 2001 during Phyllis’ marriage to Jack (Peter Bergman) when the couple discovered Jack was the father of Diane’s infant son, Kyle. Jack and Diane worked out a custody arrangement where she and Kyle moved into the Abbott guest house. However, the living situation sparked tension between Phyllis and Diane as Miss Jenkins tried to break up Phack’s marriage.
Stafford shared a throwback of the iconic rivalry on Instagram. The actress posted a clip of Diane and Phyllis arguing while Phyllis is dressed in red lingerie. “Phyllis walking around the Abbott Living room in her drawers.. hahahah!” Stafford captioned the post.
The post got a lot of attention, and the comment section was flooded with reactions to Phyllis’ attire.
Stafford’s onscreen rival Walters commented, “That’s hysterical!!! And I remember you in that saucy lingerie!!💃🔥.”

Phyllis and Diane reignited their feud every time Miss Jenkins returned. During the last round of their rivalry, things got heated when Phyllis faked her death and framed Diane for the crime.
Lately, things have cooled off between the two women, but eventually they’ll be fighting again, and it’ll be red-hot.
