Robert Adamson has stayed plenty busy since we last saw this fan-favorite as The Young and the Restless’ Noah Newman, a part he’s played since 2012, though only sparingly of late.
Robert Adamson — Keeping Busy
Last year, he had a recurring role on ABC’s Stumptown, playing a staff Sargent in the U.S. Airforce who came to the show’s resident detective Dex to help him solve the mystery of his parentage.
He would probably have been featured even more had the show made it to Season 2 as originally expected, though that decision was changed due to the pandemic. He also was a guest on CBS’s hit All Rise and took to social media to talk about his latest guest role.
A Glimpse Into Adamson’s New Part
On Instagram, Adamson shared he will be appearing on an episode of the FX hit, Dave. “Very excited for this one,” the actor wrote. “Watch for me playing a Record Album exec in the season finale of DAVE. If you haven’t seen this show, do yourself a favor and watch it. Best comedy on TV right now.”
For those who haven’t seen it, Dave centers on a neurotic man who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time and he vows to leave no stone unturned on his quest to become the next superstar.
He added an image of his call sheet for the show. Other things revealed by examining it is that Adamson will be playing a character named Ryan, and it appears his scenes will be in a conference room and possibly outside as the sheet warns its actors to be “prepared to shoot in the rain.”
It also shows that proper social distancing measures were in place during filming, as it has strict rules — as it should — for keeping people safe during a worldwide pandemic.
Sending Their Support
Hunter King, Y&R’s Summer Newman, was quick to congratulate her on-screen brother. “Heck, yes!!!!!” she wrote under his post.
Others who chimed in their support include Y&R’s Christian Le Blanc (Michael) and Tracey Bregman (Lauren).
While Nick and Sharon’s son occasionally pops up once in a while, he has missed some big occasions — such as Sharon’s wedding to Rey! Still, he’s not officially off the show and you never know when Noah might show up in Genoa City again. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
