The Young and the Restless star Tracey Bregman is a beloved staple in Genoa City courtesy of her winning portrayal of Lauren Fenmore Baldwin. Now, the actress has told us why her life will never be the same!
As fans know, she tragically lost her home in the Malibu fires last year. Bregman returned to the charred remains of her house hoping to salvage any surviving items, which she was able to do.
One of the few items, Bregman managed to take with her the night of the fire was the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Ingenue in a Drama Series that she won in 1985, the first year the category was introduced.
Now, Bregman has taken the next step in moving forward so a demolition team came in and started to clear out the remains of her home. Once the job is completed, Bregman can start rebuilding.
“Today I close the door to the past and open the door to the future,” the actress posted. As you can see in her post, a drone took aerial footage of the demolition process.
Soap Hub wishes Bregman the best as she continues to put the past to rest and moves ahead with finding a new home on the west coast.
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
