Off-screen, Daniel Romalotti is raising daughter Lucy on The Young and the Restless. In real-life, his portrayer, Michael Graziadei, has big news in the father department himself!
Double Trouble For Michael Graziadei
Graziadei, who played Danny (Michael Damian) and Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) son, shared on Instagram that he’s not only going to be a dad but that he and mom-to-be Lauren are expecting twins!!
“Well played quarantine… well played,” the actor posted on social media, inviting followers to swipe to see the second photo he shared. In the first one, Lauren is shown dealing with morning sickness. In the second picture, it’s revealed that the couple is expecting two children and shows Graziadei’s playful reaction to the news as he takes a morning sickness position!
The actor’s YR pals posted their responses to the joyful news. Bryton James (Devon), who may be becoming a father himself on YR courtesy of Devon’s role in the surrogate story, wrote: “😳😳 !!!CONGRATULATIONS!!!!💪🏿🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.”
“Thank you kindly sir,” Graziadei responded.
“DUDE!!” exclaimed Greg Rikaart (Kevin). “This made my day!!!! ❤️❤️❤️.” Graziadei playfully replied: “that’s why I posted it… just for u my friend.” Rikaart smiled back: “haha. You’re a giver. I’m very excited for you.”
Stafford did a follow-up post after realizing that her TV son is expecting two children! “Omg!! I wrote on comment before I saw the second one!! GOOD GOD!!! Hahaha!!” Graziadei joked: “Yeah… we in trouble.”
“Welcome to adulthood! Now there is no escape!!! 🙌,” posted Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane). Graziadei responded: “challenge accepted.”
Adrienne Frantz, who played opposite Graziadei as Amber on YR, wrote: “so happy for you both! It is such an amazing life changing for the better experience!! I know you will be wonderful parents!!! Love you! Can’t wait to meet your little ones someday!”
