You’ve seen Eric Braeden take on many roles outside of his iconic gig as Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless, appearing on everything from the beloved sitcom Mary Tyler Moore to the blockbuster film Titanic. Now, the actor’s stepping into a brand new realm — the music world!
Eric Braeden: Music Man
Braeden is a supporter of UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) and he recently took part in a music video to benefit the international organization. “The only way we can make a difference is by coming together,” Braeden posted on social media. “What a pleasure to be a part of @theunisong project to raise money & awareness for @UNICEF.”
To learn more about the song and/or download it, you can visit the Uni Song site. According to the song’s web page: “U.n.I (You & I) is a song and video from the son and granddaughter of Sir Roger Moore, which they hope will help raise money for UNICEF, an organization the Bond star was passionately involved with for many years. The video features more than 50 celebrities lip-syncing the song’s lyrics, in honor of their friend Roger and to support a great cause close to the actor’s heart.”
In addition to Braeden, other celebs who appear in the video include Joan Collins (ex-Alexis, Dynasty; ex-Alexandra, Guiding Light), Stefanie Powers (Hart to Hart), Liam Neeson (Taken), Julianne Hough (America’s Got Talent), Jeff Fahey (ex-Gary, One Life to Live), and many others!
Braeden encourages people to check out the song and download it to their music library, noting that “every donation helps.” The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
