The Young and the Restless fans have watched the Newman ranch go through changes over the years, like when Sharon accidentally burned the placed down – now, a real-life tragedy stands to cause harm to Eric Braeden’s (Victor) real-life home!
Eric Braeden: Being Cautious
As it has been widely reported in the news, fires are raging out of control in parts of California. Braeden took to social media to update his followers as to his status. He and his wife Dale had to evacuate their beautiful home because the raging fires were getting too close.
“Have evacuated our home! Kind of sad, because we don’t know if it’ll be around in a few days! Love you all! Be safe!”
Co-stars and pals, including Greg Rikaart (Kevin) and Robert Parucha (ex-Matt), have weighed in with their support, hoping for the best for their colleague and friend. “Thinking of you all, Eric,” posted Rikaart. “Stay safe!” Added Parucha: “Blessings to you and Dale and the rest of your family and loved ones.”
On Monday, the actor said he was watering down his property in preparation for what may come and shared a picture of him doing so.
Last year, several soap stars had to evacuate their homes, including Finola Hughes, Kimberly McCullough, and Tracey Bregman, who eventually lost her home and many belongings.
