On The Young and the Restless, Victoria is in a power play with her father as he tries to get McCall Unlimited for Adam, but she wants it for Newman. But off-screen, her portrayer, Amelia Heinle, is happily preparing for a very special milestone.
Happy Birthday, Amelia Heinle
That’s because she was born on March 17, 1973, in Phoenix, Arizona, which means that this talented actress is turning 50 years old today! Heinle made her acting debut on the ABC daytime soap Loving in 1993.
On that program, she played Stephanie Brewster, a character she would also play in its sequel series The City, between November 1995 and January 1996. Subsequently, Heinle starred in a number of feature films and made-for-TV movies.
Among her many credits are the films At Sachem Farm, Liars Poker, and The Limey, as well as Quicksilver, Purgatory, Sally Hemings: An American Scandal, The Only Living Boy in New York, and Earth vs. Spider — all small-screen features.
In 2001, Heinle returned to soap operas. This time she was All My Children’s Mia Saunders, the heretofore unknown half-sister of veteran character Liza Colby. She would remain with that soap until 2004.
Afterward, Heinle accepted an offer to join the cast of CBS’ The Young and the Restless and replace actress Heather Tom in the role of longtime character Victoria Newman. She made her debut on March 21, 2005. Her performance has so far netted her two consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress (2014 and 2015).
Heinle’s other work includes the I Will Buy You a New Life music video and an April 2009 guest spot on supernatural series Ghost Whisperer — which she made alongside second husband and former Y&R co-star Thad Luckinbill.
Soap Hub would like to wish Amelia Heinle a very happy birthday and many more.
