Max Ehrich, a four-time Daytime Emmy nominee for his run as Fenmore Baldwin on The Young and the Restless, has taken to social media to reveal a devastating loss. The actor’s real-life reported girlfriend, Demi Lovato, has weighed in with support for the actor.
Max Ehrich Pays Tribute
“This past weekend I lost a dear friend [Samara Manger-Weil] whom I went to performing arts high school with in NYC,” Ehrich posted on Instagram. “I had the privilege of venturing out on my own at 15 to attend this school, PPAS [Professional Performing Arts School], and found my crew of artistic misfits who are some of the most free-spirited, loving, accepting, and creative souls I’ve encountered.
Friendship Memories
“Our times were truly unforgettable,” the actor added. Sadly, one of those classmates has died. “Samara was someone that was unapologetically, authentically herself. She had such an infectious laugh, larger than life personality, with a huge loving heart.
“These past few days I’ve gone down memory lane and am truly just so grateful to have gotten to remember those unforgettable times shared. As tears have come; So have infinite waves of nostalgic joy and laughter. I’ll miss our times that always ended around the piano singing songs til the sun would rise. You will forever be missed, Samara.”
Demi Lovato Lends Support
Lovato, who’s been romantically linked to Ehrich, posted: “Here for you always 💗.”
While Manger-Weil wasn’t a professional actress, she did work in show business, making her living as a production coordinator on such programs as The Real Housewives of Orange County, Jay Leno’s Garage, Growing Up Supermodel, Sweet Home Oklahoma, Billion Dollar Wreck, and Car Matchmaker with Spike Feresten.
Soap Hub sends sincere condolences to Ehrich at this difficult time on the loss of his dear friend. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
