Now that viewers of The Young and the Restless are watching classic episodes each day because the CBS soap has run out of new episodes due to shutting down production during the coronavirus pandemic, actors are doing their best to provide fresh fun content on social media.
The Young and the Restless Ladies Makeup Magic
A challenge had been issued after the women from sister show The Bold and the Beautiful did something similar, thrilling fans with their edited production of passing the makeup brush and going from stay-at-home glum to dressed-up glam in moments.
But before the ladies of YR could pick up that dropped brush and do it themselves, two men — Scott Clifton (Liam, BB) and Christian Le Blanc (Michael, YR) — beat them to it with their own version of the change-in-a-second theme and it was hilarious.
Now fans get to see what the YR women have put together and you definitely don’t want to miss it. The stars passing the baton, so to speak, include Melissa Ordway (Abby), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Camryn Grimes (Mariah), Cait Fairbanks (Tessa), Brytni Sarpy (Elena), and the final toss going to Hunter King (Summer).
The Young and the Restless History
YR made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) heroism to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle), YR knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
